The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek a high level of current income, with a secondary investment objective of long-term capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its managed assets in emerging markets domestic debt. Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Domestic Debt Fund, Inc's investment portfolio included debt instruments, United States treasury security and short term investment.
