Nuveen Floating Rate Income Opportunity Fund is a close ended fixed income mutual fund launched and managed by Nuveen Investments Inc. It is co-managed by Symphony Asset Management LLC. The fund invests in fixed income markets. It would invest at least 80% of its managed assets in adjustable rate secured senior loans and adjustable rate unsecured senior loans; and at least 65% in senior loans that are secured by specific collateral. The fund may invest up to 20% of its managed assets in other debt securities, mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities; and debt securities and other instruments issued by government, government-related, or supranational issuers. It formerly known as Nuveen Floating Rate Income Fund 2. Nuveen Floating Rate Income Opportunity Fund is domiciled in the United States.
