how do I post charts or files? I've searched, but might be overlooking it!!!

Also, do you need to upload to a web hosting and then insert the URL?

How a bout a simple attachment of PDF?

Thanks in advance, Khan.

SK,

Yes, you must upload your image of a chart to an image hosting website to get the URL to it before you can insert it into a post here.

My favorite image hosting site is:

http://www.photobucket.com

Registration is free, and it allows you to upload an unlimited number of images into folders you create under your username. After you upload an image to a folder, it will give you four URL's to pick from. Copy the "Direct Link" URL.

Then go to Finviz and in the compose message window click on the button at the top that has a mountain with a sun. When you roll your mouse over it, the word "Image" will show up. Click on that and some code will show up in the compose message window. Then paste your URL in between the "url" code like this:

[*url]PASTE YOUR URL HERE[*/url]

(But your code won't have any asterisks. I had to include them or you wouldn't have been able to see the code at all.)

I don't know if you can insert a PDF file into the body of a post here. Your best bet is to just show a link to it like I've seen you do with the Candlestick PDF you posted recently. And BTW, that's a great reference site on the subject!

Happy Trading,
zz

Thanks for the reply, I was slowly getting there, but wasn't sure of the code portion. That is a great image hosting site. I use imageshack and tinyurl/tiny pic. good tools.
