can someone tell me how this values are calculated?

i was started to wonder this as well as these numbers are sometimes substantially different from other sites. here is just one example, FR (First Industrial Realty):

finviz: short float = 32.31%
yahoo: short float = 18.7%
shortsqueeze: short float = 19.1%

looks like this data is rather dated. the finviz 32% number matches shortsqueeze's old data almost perfectly.

how often is this data updated?
