I have tried to create a couple of different Stocks screeners using the save and edit functions... I have one preset screener which allows me to catch all criteria, which I download into a Excel file.. However if I attempt to create a screener for foreign stocks or one with EPS criteria, the 1st one I saved with all criteria then reverts to either the foreign or EPS preset which I've saved.. in other words, all I can do is save only One (1) preset..example.. I save an All criteria Preset..it's all OK.. I then attempt to create and save one with oly EPS data.. I save it, then check on the All criteria Preset I 1st made, and it's reverted to the settings from the EPS one...
I've tried to see if it's a browser thing, but it does the same thing in both IE6 and Firefox...
Any suggestions?

Screener presets store your current filter settings. The output of a screener preset changes over time. For a static preset, that will always show the same tickers (watchlist), just enter your symbols into the screener > tickers input and save preset.

Do you mean a preset with just the EPS filter?
Please copy/paste your screener preset links from the browser here, so we can see what kind of presets you are exactly looking for.
Thanks.

At Present I have two screener presets.. I generally only have one because it's all the data, and I download it all into an excel file each evening. However I was trying to show a friend how to setup a screener last night and added the EPS one and thats when I saw it was giving me back the same info no matter which one I chose...I did have one set up for foreign stocks prior, but, just like last night I found out it gives me all the same data back... when saving a New preset screener, it states you can have up to 50 presets... It Ain't happening for me..
It all comes back the same, no matter which preset I choose..

EPS Stocks: v=152&ft=2&ta=1&p=d&r=1

All Stocks All Criteria: v=152&ft=1&ta=1&p=d&o=-perf1w&r=1

Thanks for your quick attention and reply !!

I see that Finviz has added another "Filter" Tab along with Descriptive, Fundamental and Technical, another added one now titled "All"...

Don't know if it was an oversight or done for a particular reason, but in my one permanent preset screener I can sort according to filters: (1)EPS growth qtr over qtr, (2)Sales growth qtr over qtr, (3)Shares Outstanding, and (4)Shares Float, these four which are not included in the "All" categories...

We aren't in the best of economic times right now, but these four filters I've mentioned are some of the strongest indicators to be watched when your doing fundamental analysis for Momentum and Growth Stocks...

But, Hey, I'm not one to complain..Another Great addition to the already awesome Finviz site...

"but I'm hoping you won't remove those filters in the custom made presets"

Addendum: I already see that when configuring a new custom preset screener, they've been removed

Custom view settings are not saved in screener presets, that's probably the issue. Custom settings are stored separately in browser's cache and you cannot have multiple custom view settings currently.

If you want to combine screener presets and custom view i.e. for daily export, do not modify your custom view settings throughout the day, use it for export only.
