I'm using Fidelity Active Pro but only a single monitor which doesn't seem to be enough. I'm constantly maximizing and minimizing windows looking for entry points and missing them like crazy. For those of you who are active traders, I'd appreciate it if you shared how you have your computers set up. Pictures too, if you can.

Thanks.

TwoHands,

I also use Fidelity Active Trader Pro, plus I also use Scottrader on my four monitor setup. If you want an easy way to add more monitors to your computer, check out this neat little gadget. It's a lot cheaper and easier than adding graphic cards to your desktop computer, and it works on laptops too:

Here is a somewhat blurry screenshot of my four monitor trading platform. As you can see, I have 2 watchlists, four Level 2 windows, eight Time and Sales windows, plus six charts in different time frames up. You may thinks this is a lot to look at, but I want to add two more monitors soon. There's no way I could be a successful Day Trader with only one monitor. Unless it was freakin' HUGE...lol:

Happy Trading,
zz

zz man. which one (brokers) do you trade through?

If Scott, why not Elite. I used it for a while and it did a fair job. I don't use many indicators, but orders process was good and multiple tabs allowed specific configurations you could easily tab when a signal presents itself. ex., overall tab showing the big picture, and specific time frame tabs for execution and monitoring..

When scaling into those trades at 100 a clip, doesn't the $7 weigh heavily on the bottom line and change the profitability of the trade?
