To make your screening even more effective, plenty of new filters and views have been implemented into Screener.

The new technical filters offer an effective way of filtering various MA levels and crossovers, flexible High/Low ranges, chart patterns, gaps, candlestick patterns, and more. The new technical view, and technical analysis view summarizes the charts and technical data. Enjoy!

Example:
Avg Volume, above 1m
Performance Week, bellow -10%
Performance Year, above 50%

Alex:

Finviz is amazing in all the features you've added. I thought it was great in June when I found it, but you have added so much more since then that I feel like you should become one of the most visited stock sites on the web.

I've been learning for awhile - one thing I've found to be very helpful is the export function. After I've screened to my heart's content. I can choose to export one of the views to Excel and massage it with my own custom portfolio-design possibilities. I realize one can do this in creating a portfolio, but sometimes it's not simple to choose how much money one wants to invest so as to reach a collective investment/yield. Export solves that problem by letting me do whatever calcs I need in Excel, and then come back FINVIZ (or somewhere else) to actually form a portfolio.
