Ag and Farts stocks are getting chopped off. It looks like they are being royally-gang-raped in the market...

Take a look at POT, CF, MOS, MON etc...

Blood in the streets. Is it the hedge funds liquidation and are you shorting going forward?

Ags got downgraded big time today.

It looks like the market is taking one sector at a time to the woodshed.

I was "hoping" for a bounce in ags before today's massacre to start shorting but unfortunately have to sit out this time.

Keep a watch on solar group: This might be next in line...

I'm waiting for a bounce in fslr, spwra, stp, ener.

But who knows, they might come after my favorite sector BIOTECH/MEDICAL (strong RS)...keeping my eyes wide open.

If the House defeats the bailout again, we're looking at a 1000 point drop anyway. I think it would be the awakening of the public awareness that is the huge problem we already know it is.

If the House shows its middle finger to the bill, expect Paulson, Bernanke & Co. to come out and say, "We told you so..."

Kick back and enjoy the melodrama as it unfolds. This is some historic moments in the US history and thank that you're part & witness of it.

I have been thinking the same that we are witnessing history, but the pain for people is high and that's why I have been advocating to anyone reading my comments for the last month to come out of this spiraling down market and get into interest or something safe. Come join STI and I as we sit viewing the history that your children and grandchildren will read about because we may be heading into not only a severe recession, but possibly the big D.

I am in a complete fetal position on the market with 100% in interest income. I won’t come in at the bottom, but when we go down another 1000 to 1500 points, I will start price average buys even if it keeps going lower. Think about how anyone could jump start returns by stopping the bleeding now. If we go from 8000 back to 14000 in the next few years, that’s a 70% return. I just wiped the drool off my keyboard w/ my shaking hands thinking of the possibility.

Going long on commodities for a quick bounce. Bought some "October" WLT and CF calls...

Lets see where it takes us...

Thats a whole lot of money to invest.

Since I don't know you or your personal goals, its little difficult to give advice.

But if you would like to play in the stock market do it seriously even if its "residual" money.

If you're looking to invest for short to mid term, wait for few days and see where the market is trending. If you're a new trader and the market is trending down, sit out. And if its trending upward, buy some good strong stocks.

As of now, whatever was holding up in this market has been beaten down.

There are some good traders on this forum like stockman, zigzag etc. who provide valuable contribution. Keep an eye on the trades that are posted on the forums as well as my blog.

I try to update it whenever I make a trade.

Other than that, I don't know what exactly are you looking for.

If you have more specific question, please post it and I'll try my best to answer them.

Commodities are defying gravity with $VIX up over 5 to ~59. There might be possible bounce if the market rallies or they might just be resting here before the next leg down...

My money is still on the bounce...I did make "hope" part of my trading for now.Shhh
